| 5/22/2008 - Residential Burglary in Bartonville |

Bartonville Police are searching for the person(s) responsible for a Burglary that occurred in the 500 block of Seals Rd. Taken in the Burglary were numerous cameras and camera equipment along with a white 1985 Jeep that was recovered on Johnson Rd. west of Hwy. 377. While in the residence, the suspects damaged a considerable amount of property. Two white males, one wearing white pants and the other wearing dark pants, were seen in the area at the time of the Burglary. |

| | 5/21/2008 - Aggravated Robbery of Lewisville Walgreens |

On May 21st. at approximately 9:40 am., a lone gunman entered the Walgreens Pharmacy located 1103 W. Round Grove Road in Lewisville. He passed a note to a clerk stating he had a gun and that they had one minute to hand over narcotics which were listed on the note. The gunman, who was armed with a black colored handgun, is described as a white male, 19 to 40 years of age, 5`8-5`10 tall, thin build with blue eyes. He was wearing thin wire reading glasses, a baseball cap, black jacket and gloves. He was unshaven with short, possibly blond hair. He left the area in a silver sporty 2 door vehicle.

| | 2/15/2008 - STORE CLERK SHOT DURING ROBBERY OF LEWISVILLE CONVENIENCE STORE | At approximately 10:40 pm. on February 14, 2008, an armed male suspect entered the Fina convenience store located at 101 Holfords Prairie Rd. in Lewisville. The gunman, armed with a pistol, approached the female store clerk and demanded that money be placed in a bag. The clerk, believing the gun to be fake, refused to comply with the gunman`s orders and a scuffled ensued. The gunman sprayed the clerk with mace and shot her before fleeing the scene without the money. The gunman is described as a Hispanic or black male, 5`8 to 6`0 tall and weighing 160-180lbs. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket, dark pants, tennis shoes, white t-shirt, black ski mask and gloves or socks on his hands.

| | 1/31/2008 - ATTEMPTED ROBBERY OF THE ESKIMO HUTT IN DENTON | On 1-31-08 at 12:22 am, the owner of the Eskimo Hutt located at 717 Sunset in Denton was shot during an attempted robbery. The victim exited the store with his deposit for the night and got into his vehicle parked in front of the business. The suspect approached the vehicle and opened the door. The suspect tried to take the deposit and during the struggle, the owner attempted to use a handgun to defend himself. At one point, the weapon discharged striking the owner. The suspect fled the area without taking the deposit. The suspect may have been cut or shot in the hand by the weapon when it discharged.

| | 1/29/2008 - Cold Case Homicide | On May 27, 2002, Billy Gene Dillon was mowing property located at 3606 Blagg Rd. outside Denton when a high powered bullet struck him in the head causing his death. | | 1/22/2008 - Denton Bingo Hall Robbed | On Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 10:27pm; suspects entered the closed Bingo Hall located at the Denton Fair Grounds, 2217 N. Carroll Blvd. and forced employees and customers to lie on the floor at gunpoint. The suspects robbed the business and stole purses from female patrons before fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspects are described as being two black males in their 20`s, 6" tall, dressed in black and wearing masks, gloves and sunglasses.

| | 12/12/2007 - Criminal Mischief Reported at UNT Parking Lot |

On Saturday 12/08/2007 UNT Police received complaints of criminal mischief regarding damage to several vehicles parked in UNT parking lot 27 located at 1800 Highland St. in Denton. Between 1:00 am. and 5:00 pm. the windows of a at least ten parked vehicles were damaged by what appears to be BB gun pellets.
